Who it is for

Trades that price by the load

If the delivered price changes with where it is going, this was built for you. If you sell off a fixed list, it was not.

Aggregates and quarry sales

The delivered price is material plus haulage, and the haulage is the half that moves. Fuel, drivers, where the load is going and whether you can fill the return. Most quarry sales offices carry a per tonne rate in their head that has not been looked at properly in two years.

What it gives youBands per origin, so the same product prices differently out of two sites and you can see which one to load from.

Tipper and muckaway

Priced per load rather than per tonne, and the return leg decides whether the job was worth doing. An eight wheeler sat empty on the way back is the difference between a good day and a break even one.

What it gives youPer load products, and painted corridors along the roads where return work is easy to pick up.

Bulk and artic haulage

Fewer origins, a much bigger radius, and tonnage bands that have to hold up at two hours out as well as twenty minutes. The far end of the map is where guessing gets expensive.

What it gives youEleven bands with a widening step, and an honest answer rather than a number when a delivery falls outside the furthest one.

Builders merchants and civils

You are quoting on material you do not produce, often while somebody is stood at a counter or on the phone. Ringing three suppliers for a price is not a plan when the customer is waiting.

What it gives youA private page per supplier, so the delivered price is in front of you without a phone call.

Not sure you are one of these?

Ring and describe how you price. It takes two minutes to work out whether this is any use to you, and we would rather tell you it is not.
